Upon agreeing to work with one another, I will send you a link to Sessions Health.
In Session Health, you can create an online profile in which you can log in and access a confidential online therapy platform through Sessions Health. Sessions Health is HIPAA compliant. -
The majority of clients meet with me via online therapy, however, I can meet with clients in person upon request in San Mateo, CA.

Individual Therapy: $195
I am also paneled with Lyra Health as a provider.
I believe that all individuals should be able to access psychotherapy; if you need fee assistance, please reach out about sliding scale fees. -
First appointments usually run a little longer because I review a bit of logistics prior to us getting started, which include talking about confidentiality, etc.
After covering those basics, that’s when we can get into the heart of the matter, like what is bringing you to therapy. I will ask questions here and there to gather more context about your life and circumstances and then share the types of interventions and support I offer you.
But most importantly, in therapy it is essential that you feel listened to, heard, and seen, which is the utmost priority.

The length of time one typically spends in therapy is dependent on their needs and what their goals are.
I find that on average, clients are typically in therapy for 6-12 weeks; however, sometimes clients are in care for shorter periods of time or longer periods of time, which is based on collaborative conversations about progress throughout therapy.

I believe that transparency around fees is an important part of feeling safe and informed in therapy. Under the No Surprises Act, if you pay out of pocket (you choose not to use your insurance) you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate — a written summary of the expected costs for your sessions before we begin or at any time you request it.
This estimate helps you plan for your care and understand the financial investment involved. While the actual number of sessions may vary based on your goals and needs, you’ll always know the cost per session in advance
